VN VIDEO EDITOR
This editor seems to do a great job. I haven’t paid for it yet. I don’t know how much it’s gonna cost yet but I’ve done a project which all insert here and you know the main thing is it’s easy to use and it does create captions and it doesn’t appear to be limited on how many captions you can use
There is a method to developing a project and I’m gonna list it the way I think I remember it and you can always mod
But first you identify the items you want to use so the little short videos you have or maybe a picture too, but you can always go back an important more from your library, but you wanna get started with a few of those videos then once you have that then edit those videos by lengthening or shortening them to create the storyline that you want to do and the typical stuff is typical with this program a little handles for making it longer shorter and so forth
But it’s important I think to get the layout done first because the way you move onto the next step is you export that copy now that copy is good and you can always go back to it so you can when you start your next project you import the first project in and now you start from there Now there Are a couple reasons for that
https://youtu.be/MqTbkFN7A4k?si=1L552xQSGvsQunws
Once the video pieces are put together if there’s any audio in them, of course you can translate that into captions, but once those captions are created, and then what you do is export that whole project and it merges those captions into the film once you reach that stage I don’t know how to take those captions out so my point is when you want to say start over with a different dialogue you wanna have a clean, copy where the captions have not been created
So put your films and pictures together and export it as copy one
Reimport copy one and do other editing like adding a title page or Other text that is not part of the dialogue, not part of the eventual captions
Get that copy version done and exported now you’ve got to go back to
Reimport that copy and now you’ve got a film that is basically complete with titles, etc. now you can voice over your dialogue. In fact all of this advice is for when you’re doing voiceover you can use the program to use your iPad microphone and record your voice over you could watch your video and then just talk along with it pointing out features as you see them and then that way your voice will follow the storyline of the video
OK, so copy three now you’ve got your voice in there so export that this way it emerges your voice with the video now the reason that’s important is because now you can’t go back well you can go back. You can take it out but essentially now you’ve got your voice merged with the video And you reimport that project and now you assign the captions. In other words, the dialogue the sound the words have to be attached to the video and then that way the program can read or listen to the words and can translate and create the captions now you export that and you have a finished product
Keep in mind that you want to keep it in the 16 nine ratio so that it’s ready to be uploaded to YouTube and obviously that’s for shorts but it’s probably better to do it that way throughout you wanna do all that programming when it’s in 16 x 9 because if it’s not in that format when you’re putting in the dialogue in the captions of with it’s possible that those captions will get cut off from side to side, so this is what I learned in the first project
So the order again
One start your project with the videos and pictures
Now edit those pictures and film the way you want them to go in the order you want them to go and get that part done
Three to your talk, your voice over along while narrating the pictures as you see them
Take that video and export it, and that will merge your voice to the film
Reimport the video with audio into a new project
Now generate the captions
And now you ever finished product
Let’s say that you want to redo the dialogue that’s the situation I’m in
Your best bet is to go back to the copy where you just had the pictures merged together with no voice that way you don’t have to worry about selecting and deleting the voice extracting ex so forth. You just have a clean copy of video only.
Now re-record your voice over in your new version and now you can run your captions again
